Through 2020, Lyft and Aptiv provided 100,000 commercial \u2018robotaxi\u2019 rides in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This partnership runs through Aptiv\u2019s Command Center, and has been very successful with the Vegas customers. <strong>Lyft <\/strong>reports that is Vegas riders became Aptive advocates after experiencing their self-driving technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In September 2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aptiv.com\/en\/newsroom\/article\/aptiv-and-hyundai-motor-group-to-form-autonomous-driving-joint-venture\">Aptiv (NYSE: APTV) and Hyundai Motor Group<\/a> announced their $4 Billion autonomous driving joint venture.\u00a0Their partnership will provide advanced mobility solutions that include perception systems, software algorithms, compute platforms, and data and power distribution.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A 2020 Lyft blog post lists the advantages of the partnership between\u00a0Lyft, Dublin-based\u00a0Aptiv, a self-driving vehicle firm.
